Upcoming Scheller MarTech 2020 Conference Focuses on Using Technology to Understand Customers and Drive Marketing Decisions

Georgia Tech MBA students, MBA alumni, prospective MBA students, and the Atlanta business community are invited to attend the MarTech 2020 Conference on Friday, February 21st at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business from 1-6 pm.

Presented by the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business Marketing Faculty and the MBA Marketing Club, the MarTech 2020 Third Annual Conference will focus on Using Technology to Understand Customers and Drive Marketing Decisions

The conference will bring together industry professionals, Scheller faculty, and MBA students to discuss incorporating the latest technology, trends, and advancements to better understand customer motivation, improve user experience, and influence marketing initiatives.

Leading decision-makers from Google, Nielsen, and Turner Sports will present at the conference and popular podcast company Brands, Beats, & Bytes will record a live podcast. Special guest Mali Hunter of Tree Sound Studios will speak on the impact of today’s technology within the music industry. A networking reception will be held afterwards.

This is the third year that Scheller College’s Marketing Faculty and Scheller MBA Marketing Club have hosted the conference. Previous conference presenters have included speakers from Moxie, Verizon Wireless, Arby’s, the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, the Coca-Cola Company and Home Depot. The first two MarTech conferences were so heavily attended that this year’s conference has moved to Scheller College’s largest auditorium.

“Our goal in creating the MarTech Conference was to promote our unique position at the intersection of marketing and technology,” Senior Lecturer and MBA Marketing Club Advisor Tim Halloran said. “The conference serves to highlight Scheller’s focus on marketing innovation by bringing in companies to share their stories on how they have leveraged technology to achieve better understanding of their customers, communicate with them through a myriad of channels, and ultimately influence consumer buying decisions.”

Seating is limited. The prior two MarTech conferences have sold out, so early registration is recommended.
