Scheller College MBA Alumnus Brings Spotlight to Gourmet Pork Rind Trend

Pork rinds are quickly gaining traction as a gourmet food treat.

Brett Goodson (MBA 2016), founder and president of Bacon Heir, an Atlanta-based company that sells a variety of flavored gluten-free rinds fried in olive oil called Pork Clouds, including cinnamon churro, garlic thyme, habanero, and rosemary & sea salt, is a Scheller College of Business MBA and Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER®) program alumnus. His company sells its goods at stores across the country and on Amazon.

Goodson, who also has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University, says, “These are the pork rinds you could bring to a dinner party and not be embarrassed,” in a recent Wall Street Journal article.
