Ramblin' Roundtable: Technology and Mobility - The Intersection Podcast

Scheller College of Business is popular for being at the intersection of business and technology. On the Ramblin' Roundtable, Scheller students, alums, faculty, and more break this intersection down further to discuss hot topics in the intersection of technology and different business areas. In today's episode, 2nd year MBA candidate Stephen Stradley, 1st year MBA candidate Sunny Gupta, and from across the bridge Dr. Patricia Mokhtarian from Georgia Tech's School of Civil and Environmental Engineering talk about their passions for mobility, current events going on in the field, and whether or not we will have flying taxis in our future. Listen to the episode to find out more!

Dr. Patricia Mokhtarian

Dr. Mokhtarian has specialized in the study of travel behavior for more than 30 years, and has authored or co-authored more than 200 refereed journal articles, technical reports, and other publications.  She is a North American area editor of the journal Transportation, and is on the editorial boards of Transportation Research Part A, Transport Policy, Transportation Letters, the International Journal of Sustainable Transportation, the European Journal of Transport and Infrastructure Research, and Travel Behaviour and Society.

Stephen Stradley

Stephen is a transportation and mobility fanatic that is looking to pivot from high school social studies teacher and education software product manager into a Product Manager within the transportation business. He worked this summer with Scoop, a Series C carpooling company, as a PM. While he believes in doing all we can do to limit environmental impact (even at the cost of industry), he's even more passionate about finding ways to make the commute less burdensome on the working class and working poor.

Sunny Gupta

Sunny has experience in software engineering, but he's a technology enthusiast and generally follows the world of mobility. In particular, he's interested in Autonomous Vehicles and their environmental, societal, and business impact.
