Poets & Quants Ranks Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business’ Undergraduate Program Top 20 in the U.S.

Scheller College of Business’ Undergraduate Program has been named #14 Best Undergraduate Business Program in the U.S. and #5 Best Undergraduate Business Program at a public university in the U.S. by Poets and Quants in their just-released 2020 rankings for undergraduate programs.

Additional Poets and Quants (P&Q) 2020 rankings include post-graduate alumni assessments of their undergraduate business programs. Scheller College achieved high national rankings by P&Q, including  #1 Best Undergraduate Career Advising in the U.S. (public university), #1 Best Undergraduate Academic Advising in the U.S. (public university), and #6 Best Undergraduate Program Worth its Cost in Tuition in the U.S. (all universities).

A nationally recognized online news organization, Poets and Quants (P&Q) focuses on all matters concerning business schools in the United States. Providing robust and detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of business school programs and performance, Poets & Quants’ annual rankings are an aggregate of the organization’s research, assessment, and evaluation. Highly regarded by prospective undergraduate and graduate students, P&Q rankings are often a key component in the application decision process.

The new P&Q 2020 rankings advance Scheller College’s Undergraduate program four places above last year’s rankings, moving the program from an already impressive #18 national placement in 2019 to #14 for 2020 and securing Scheller’s program as one of P&Q’s Top 20 Best Undergraduate Business Programs in the U.S.

Our program’s academic rigor and experiential learning opportunities meet the demand of both students and employers for graduates who have both an in-depth knowledge of business and an excellent understanding of technology’s continual impact in the global marketplace.

Poets & Quants base their findings on three primary categories: admission standards (33.3%), academic experience, (33.3%), and employment outcomes (33.3%). Data considered in each category include SAT scores, percentage of students in the top 10 percent of their high school class, acceptance rates, alumni surveys, employment within three months of graduation, average salary, signing bonuses, and percentage of undergraduate students with internships before graduation.

Associate Dean of Scheller College’s Undergraduate Program, Craig Womack, noted “We are very pleased to be ranked by Poets and Quants as a Top 5 Undergraduate Business Program for public universities in the U.S., as well as a Top 20 Undergraduate Business Program overall. National recognition of this caliber reflects well on Georgia Tech Scheller College’s position at the intersection of technology and business. Our program’s academic rigor and experiential learning opportunities meet the demand of both students and employers for graduates who have both an in-depth knowledge of business and an excellent understanding of technology’s continual impact in the global marketplace.
