TI:GER Teams are #Winning

The new incoming class of TI:GER students did outstanding work this year on their commercialization plans with several teams already achieving major recognition.

TI:GER Team Lunula Health

  • Team Nav Robotics finished strong winning 3rd place at TiECon Atlanta on April 29, 2017. Team members include Brian Goldfain, PhD, Newton Chan and Declan Nishiyama (MBAs), Nicholas Marais and Zachary Fialkow(JDs).
  • Lunula Health won the Advanced Track of the Ideas to Serve (I2S) competition held by the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship at Scheller College on April 19, 2017. The team, consisting of engineering student Robert Manino, in collaboration with MBA students Prattek Mittal and Anna McDermott, won the first prize of $2,500 based on their smart phone app for hemoglobin level monitoring.
  • At this year’s GSVC (Global Social Venture Competitions) Regional Finals held in Atlanta on March 3, 2017, Team Lunula Health won the CIBER Global Social Impact Award. Team members are Robert Manino, PhD, Prateek Mittal and Anna McDermott (MBAs), Alex Silinuas, and Creighton McMurray(JDs)
  • The Venture Lab Pitch Competition took place in Atlanta on February 7, 2017. Team Dikaryon Bio’s Jordan Gulli, Ph.D. and Team AquaCell’s Brian Schmatz, Ph.D., represented the TI:GER program well.
