Jones MBA Career Center Welcomes New Staff

The Scheller College MBA Career Services team recently welcomed three new Career Coaches/Corporate Relations Managers, Patrick Manigault, Lauren Porter and Kristen Pratt, just in time to support our new and returning MBAs with their internship and job searches this fall. Patrick, Lauren and Kristen replace Ann Blasick and John Patrick, who recently moved on to new career opportunities, and Barb Lindquist, who retired in May after ten years at Georgia Tech. Patrick, Lauren and Kristen play a significant role in achieving the goals of the Jones MBA Career Center, building strong recruiting relationships and helping our full-time and evening MBAs prepare for their job search.

Patrick ManigaultPatrick Manigault joins Scheller College with an extensive consulting and executive coaching background. Prior to joining Scheller College Patrick served as a Manager of Talent Development and Executive Coach, as well as a Senior Organization Effectiveness Consultant, at Slalom Consulting. He also spent almost seven years as a Talent and Organization Consultant at Accenture. He received his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech in Physics after completing an M.S. at Hampton University and a B.A. from the University of Virginia, both in Physics. As a career changer and an executive coach, Patrick hopes to bring a unique and informed perspective on working, growing, and leading in corporate environments.

Lauren PorterLauren Porter joins Scheller College after more than three years at AT&T in Dallas where she participated in their Leadership Development Program after graduating with an MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She completed rotations as a Network Services Manager, a Benefits Manager and a Learning and Development Consultant. Lauren entered her MBA with eight years of experience in recruiting and sales. Lauren graduated from the University of Richmond with dual bachelor degrees in marketing and music performance. As a career advisor at Scheller, she hopes to bring a passion and enthusiasm for career transformation and success by helping students tell their unique story in a way that connects their past experience with their future goals. She is excited about developing new corporate partnerships to ensure that students can connect with the right career opportunities.

Kristen PrattKristen Pratt joins Scheller College with more than 15 years of experience in Human Capital Management. She spent ten years at Bain & Company, starting as a Consultant and most recently serving as a Director of Consulting Operations and Human Resources. She has also worked at Turner, The Walt Disney Company, and Proctor & Gamble in various capacities. She received her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her B.S. in Marketing and Business Management from Cornell University. Having worked in industry and consulting, Kristen hopes to bring a diverse perspective to her students' career search. She looks forward to fostering relationships with both current and new corporate recruiters, thus continuing the tradition of making the Scheller MBA program a top hiring destination.
