Scheller College Dean Speaks at TEDxCPW

Watch Scheller College Dean Maryam Alavi's talk at the fourth annual TEDxCentennialParkWomen (TEDxCPW) program held in October. The event featured a curated selection of presentations revolving around the theme, "It's About Time." The presenters spoke on topics ranging from global economics to elevating women in historically male-dominated industries to redesigning workflow as a result of new technology.

In her presentation, Dean Alavi suggests that "it's about time" to change the paradigm about the relationship between humans and machines from one in which humans compete with machines to learn and solve problems to one in which humans team up with machines to improve their lives.
