MBA Graduate Rhett Grametbauer Takes the Ultimate Football Road Trip

Scheller College graduate, Rhett Grametbauer, MBA 2004, took the football adventure of a lifetime visiting every NFL stadium in America during the 2014-2015 football season, all in his 1967 Volkswagen bus named “Hail Mary”.

Grametbauer traveled with a couple friends to all 31 pro football arenas over 16 weeks and attended 32 games. His Texas-born love of football inspired his trip and he enjoyed the opportunity to connect with many fellow fans along the road.

“While I remember almost everything about our trip – the places we went, the people we met – I have an extremely vivid recollection of Buffalo,” Grametbauer wrote.

He recorded his voyage in a recently published memoir titled 25,000 Miles to Glory, as well as in a documentary film co-produced by NFL Films that premiered at the Pro Football Hall of Fame weekend in Canton, Ohio, this fall.
