Scheller College is 1st Nationally in the 2015 Better World MBA Rankings

Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business is 1st in the U.S. and 6th globally in Corporate Knights’ Better World MBA latest rankings. Corporate Knights is the definitive annual guide to which MBA programs are doing the best job preparing students to tackle the social and environmental challenges of our time. This year's ranking focused on 121 programs including the 100 listed in the Financial Times (FT) 2015 Global MBA Ranking.

“This ranking reflects our continued focus on growing the opportunities for MBA students at Scheller while simultaneously investing in faculty research and industry impact,” said Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business Faculty Director Beril Toktay.  “We’re excited about our continued growth over the past year which included the launch of our Strategic Sustainability MBA Concentration, welcoming our inaugural class of Scheller Sustainability Fellows, and the re-naming of our center thanks to the generous support from the Ray C. Anderson Foundation,” says the center’s Managing Director Howard Connell.

The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at Scheller College acts as a catalyst and connector, bringing together students, research faculty, companies, and entrepreneurs to create an environment where business-driven solutions to sustainability challenges can take shape and thrive. Also contributing to a better world at Scheller College are the Global Social Venture Competition and the Pro Bono Consulting and Board Fellows programs, part of the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship.  Rounding out these opportunities are the initiatives of the Cecil B. Day Program for Business Ethics.

“Opportunities for Scheller students to gain skills and experience related to sustainability throughout their MBA education abound not only at Scheller but across Georgia Tech, Atlanta, and beyond. These opportunities will expand significantly over the coming years as Scheller College, Georgia Tech, and the City of Atlanta have all committed to greater levels of sustainability innovation and leadership,” said Dean of Scheller College of Business Maryam Alavi.

The Scheller College of Business is located in a state-of-the-art building in Georgia Tech’s vibrant Technology Square, the core of Atlanta’s high-tech business community. The College offers an internationally recognized business education, including full-time, evening, and Executive MBA options as well as undergraduate and PhD degrees, to approximately 2,000 degree-seeking students each year.
