Princeton Review: Georgia Tech's MBA Program among Best for Classroom Experience

Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business is ranked 7th for Best Classroom Experience among Top MBA programs, according to The Princeton Review's latest annual guidebook The Best 296 Business Schools.

The Princeton Review does not rank the schools in the book on a single hierarchical list from one to 296, or name one business school best overall. Instead, the book includes rankings of the top 10 business schools in 11 different categories, including Best Classroom Experience.

The publication listed all of the Scheller College's MBAs in its description of the school: Full-time, Evening, Executive MBA in Global Business, and Executive MBA in Management of Technology.

To determine these listings, The Princeton Review surveyed 19,000 students at hundreds of schools on their opinions of their particular school's academics, student body, and campus life.

"No doubt Georgia Tech boasts a great brand name, but that's hardly all this school has to offer its MBAs," according to The Princeton Review. "With a curriculum designed to integrate management and technology, Georgia Tech positions its grads well in the increasingly technologically focused world of business."

Robert Franek, senior vice president-publisher of The Princeton Review, says, "We consider Georgia Tech one of the best institutions a student could attend to earn an MBA," adding that his surveyors "greatly respect the opinions of students attending these schools who rate and report on their experiences."

The Princetown Review's top business schools include 280 in the United States and 16 in other countries.

The Best 296 Business Schools is one of more than 150 Princeton Review books published by Random House. The line also includes The Best 168 Law Schools and The Best 168 Medical Schools, plus guides to graduate school admission exams and application essays. The Princeton Review is also known for classroom and online test-prep courses, tutoring, and its other education services.
