Technology and Management Faculty and Student Accomplishments

We are proud of the accomplishments of our students and faculty! Congratulations to:

 T&M Students:

  • Vivian Fan won a Fleet Scholarship for study abroad this summer. 
  • Stephanie Stout won a scholarship from Boeing and she was recently elected President of the Society of Women Engineers. 
  • Kishen Raghunath won the SMART Scholarship.  
  • Joseph Foote was part of an interdisciplinary team that competed in the I2S “Ideas 2 Serve (Socially & Environmentally Responsible Value Enhancement) competition. The I2S is intended for Georgia Tech students and staff who have very early stage ideas or venture concepts that ultimately are focused on the triple bottom line of return on investments economically, environmentally, and socially. Foote’s team project, “HyrdoCycle,” earned a place among the finalists for this competition.
T&M Faculty:
  • Professor Stelios Kavadias received the Brady Family Award for Faculty Research Excellence for research excellence, including quality, novelty, impact, magnitude of contribution measured though a peer review process and quality journal placement, and serving as an inspiration to other scholars. 
  • Professor David N. Ku has been named the recipient of the 2009 Jack M. Zeigler Outstanding Educator Award.
