Come hear an inspiring talk by John Hardman, CEO of WildArk!

john HardmanAs CEO and a Director of WildArk, John Hardman leverages his broad professional background to apply a multidisciplinary approach in helping WildArk achieve its mission.  John also serves as the Managing Director of Woodleaf Partners, a business advisory and investment firm located in Atlanta, Georgia.  Active in the impact investing space since serving as President and Investment Manager of First Light Ventures, an impact investment fund affiliated with Gray Ghost Ventures through which John oversaw the incubation and spin out of Village Capital in 2012, John believes in the power of capital markets to complement philanthropic and public resources to address our world’s greatest challenges. John has worked in various leadership roles across industries, having worked within family offices, run operations for a GGIS-based data management software company, practiced real estate and corporate law, worked in financial management services and banking, and taught school in the Dominican Republic. 

Active in the community, John serves on numerous boards and advisory committees across the state of Georgia, including several conservation organizations such as the Trust for Public Land, Chattahoochee Now and The Nature Conservancy. In 2012, he was recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the 40 under 40 rising business and community leaders in Atlanta.  John has a BA from Stanford University, a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and an MBA from INSEAD, France, and he is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

About the Impact Speaker Series:

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership." The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders. The lecture series is sponsored by the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship.

The series is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
