About Rebekah Vepraskas
A 2019 Scheller MBA alumni, Rebekah Vepraskas, is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and peak performance researcher. Rebekah is the founder of Salient Counseling, where she coaches professional athletes and CEO’s to design and reach their own personal goals. While earning her MBA at Georgia Tech, Rebekah designed and led a qualitative research study with a voluntary group of Georgia Tech football players to study how goal setting leads to peak performance. Based on Rebekah’s high- performance research, she has recently founded a new company, Athlete Mettle, a high-performance goal platform for elite athletes and peak performers.
Rebekah Vepraskas earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from Mercer University. Rebekah trained in an Atlanta psychiatric clinical hospital for 8 years where she earned (LPC) licensure. Rebekah launched Salient Counseling in 2016. Acute training in a psychiatric hospital setting, prepared Rebekah to usher her clients through any scenario life could bring their way.
A lifelong Georgia, Rebekah and her husband are raising three growing sons. In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys hiking with her family, riding dirt bikes with her boys and retreating to the North Georgia Mountains.
