I want to enroll in the Executive MBA Program. What do I do now?
To reserve your seat, you must confirm your enrollment and submit your non-refundable deposit online. Follow the directions on the website to complete all of the required forms.
What is my Georgia Tech ID number?
Your GTID is a nine digit number that was assigned to you when you completed the online application process. To access your GTID number online, visit www.gtid.gatech.edu.
I am receiving e-mails from Georgia Tech. Do I respond to them?

Yes, it is important that you review all emails from Georgia Tech and respond if necessary.

What do I do if I cannot locate my childhood immunization records?
Contact Stamps Health Services at 404.894.1420 to learn more about your options.
Is a laptop required for the program?

Yes, a laptop is required for program participation.

Am I required to stay on campus during Atlanta Immersion weeks and class weekends?
No, students are not required to stay on campus.

How do I register for classes?

Your Program Manager will ensure you get registered for all classes each semester. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.

When will I get my course materials?

Course materials for the first semester will be distributed during the first Immersion Residency week in August.

For the remaining semesters, course materials will be distributed on the last day of class for the subsequent semester.

When do classes begin?

The first Immersion Week is August 2 – 6, 2021, each day begins at 8:30 am.

The first class weekend begins August 13, 2021.

What will my degree say?

Depending on your program of choice, you will receive one of the following:

  • Master of Business Administration in Management of Technology
  • Master of Business Administration - Global Business
Where do I park?

The designated parking deck is E81, located directly across from the Scheller College of Business on Spring Street (adjacent to the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center).

Parking permits will be issued at the start of the August Immersion Week.

Parking restrictions for other parking areas apply. Campus parking rules and regulations are available at parking.gatech.edu.

 * Georgia Tech employees are not eligible for student parking permits. Please see your Program Manager for options.

PLEASE NOTE: The EMBA program is not responsible for any parking fines assessed to student. 

 

Are meals provided during class weekends?

When class is in session on regular class weekends, meals are provided Friday and breakfast and lunch are providd on Saturdays. Dinner service on Friday begins at 4:30 pm. Breakfast service on Saturday begins at 7:00 am.

During the on-campus immersion weeks, breakfast and lunch are provided.  Breakfast starts at 7:00 am. Lunch time varies depending on the day’s activities. If there are evening activities, dinner will also be provided.

When will I get my BuzzCard / Georgia Tech ID Card?

You will receive your Buzzcard once your fall registration is complete. You will receive instructions for obtaining your Buzzcard from your Program Manager.

The BuzzCard is used to gain entrance to the building, as well as the parking deck, library, Campus Recreation Center (CRC), campus sporting events, and Stamps Health Services. You may also deposit money in your BuzzCard account to purchase food at various restaurants in the area.

What is the dress code on class days?

The dress code is casual during typical class days.

During the first week of class, you will have a professional headshot photo taken. The photo schedule will be provided prior to Immersion Week. 

How do I access my Student Account/Buzzport?

All students will have access to Buzzport, a web portal that aggregates all online student services.

From Buzzport, students can manage their student accounts, pay tuition, view course schedules, order transcripts, and manage other student matters. Within Buzzport, students can access OSCAR, the registration website where you can view account holds, course grades, course schedules, financial aid awards, and tuition bills.

To access your student account:

Visit the Buzzport website and click on the Oscar/Self-service tab. You may also view your account summary and financial aid disbursement information by choosing the “Student Services and Financial Aid” menu option.

I’m an International Student, what else do I need to do?

International students will receive information from Georgia Tech’s Office of International Education (OIE) after admission.

Do I have access to on campus resources?

As a graduate student at Georgia Tech, you have access to all student resources and facilities, including the Student Center, library, and Campus Recreation Center (CRC).

Tuition & Financing
What is the financial aid process? What are the important financial aid deadlines?
The financial aid application process varies depending on the type of aid requested. For more information, please access the Office of Student Financial Planning & Services (OSFP&S) website at http://finaid.gatech.edu/graduate-student.
How do I pay my tuition, and when is it due?

The tuition for the Executive MBA Program is $82,500, or $20,625 per semester. To secure your seat in the class, a $1,500 non- refundable deposit must be made online. Your deposit is applied to the first semester's tuition.

All remaining payments should made online through the student account system (buzzport.gatech.edu). Payments must arrive at the Bursar’s Office no later than 4 pm on the tuition due date.

When are tuition payments due?

Fall: $19,125* due August 2021   after *$1,500 deposit has been applied 
Spring: $20,625 due January 2022
Summer: $20,625 due May 2022
Fall: $20,625 due August 2022

My employer is funding my education. How do I set up company billing?

Contact your employer's human resources department about your eligiblity for available tuition assistance programs.

If your company is contributing to your tuition payments and submitting tuition payment directly to Georgia Tech on your behalf, please contact the Bursar’s office at thirdpartybilling@gatech.edu or via phone at 404.894.6323 to setup your corporate billing account. In addition, please notify your Program Manager and Betty Jones, Director of Executive Education Programs, at betty.jones@scheller.gatech.edu that you will use Corporate Billing.

Is my $1,500 deposit refundable?
Your deposit is non-refundable. It is applied to your first semester’s tuition payment.
Is my deposit refundable if I decide not to attend the Program?
The program deposit is non-refundable.
How do I obtain an invoice or receipt for tuition?

The Institute does not mail invoices for tuition payments.

A complete Student Invoice Statement is available to students via OscarWeb. Any changes that adjust the fees will be updated immediately to reflect the most current information on the account. The web invoice also facilitates online payment options for credit card and check payments. The payments will appear on the account instantaneously so that the student can confirm payment. Please note that receipts are only provided after your check or credit card payment has cleared.

If you require additional documentation to support your request to your company for reimbursement, please send a request to your Program Manager.
