Glenn Gottfried

Mr. Gottfried is a highly accomplished executive and executive team builder who helps entrepreneurs and executives identify and execute innovative top line growth strategies and optimize capital raising efforts. He specializes in information services, technology and media, including data, software, work-flow systems, digital, publishing, web and SaaS. He is an operating partner of Gentry Capital Partners, LLC and holds various mentoring and board positions.

Previously he was CEO of CCS-Adplus, LLC, a privately held information services business that was sold to publicly traded MDC Partners. Prior to CCS, Glenn was president of Thomson TFP (formerly an operating division of Thomson Reuters). At TFP, Mr. Gottfried developed the strategy and drove the transformation of TFP from its mature print-focused core directory business into a highly profitable (mid 40% EBITDA margin), growth oriented company focused on information, software and web-enabled work-flow solutions.

Prior to joining Thomson, Glenn was vice president, planning and product development for subsidiaries of the Chicago Stock Exchange; president of CrossLink Corp.; managing consultant with Cresap, a division of Towers Perrin; and held various management positions with Sargent and Lundy Engineers.

Glenn earned an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, MS Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
