Charles Morell

Charles Morell is the Senior Director of Global Nonwovens Research & Engineering, Kimberly-Clark Corporation.  Global Nonwovens is a sector internal to Kimberly-Clark representing over $1.5 billion value in manufactured nonwoven materials. In his role Charles leads the innovation, development, and commercialization of materials and processes used to support Kimberly-Clark's branded personal health and hygiene products. 

Charles was born in Aberdeen, Maryland and attended the Georgia Institute of Technology.  He graduated in 1982 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked with Chemical Waste Management, Inc. prior to joining Kimberly-Clark in 1984 as an entry level scientist.

Throughout his K-C career, Charles has held various positions, primarily in Research & Engineering, and prior to moving into management roles was involved in many product, materials, and process innovations.  Charles holds over 25 US Patents.Charles is married to Lori Morell, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who also works with Kimberly-Clark as a Marketing Director.  Charles and Lori have two children, Jeffrey and Jordan, who are currently attending Princeton and Emory Universities, respectively.  Charles enjoys cycling, golf, hiking, and cooking.
