Pro Bono Consulting: Testimonials

The aim of the Pro Bono Consulting program is to create positive social value by assisting not-for-profits organizations with their organizational and project-specific problems while providing participating students personal growth and learning opportunities in the social sector.

The following feedback from our previous partners and students participants are true examples of what we aim to offer:

Nonprofit partner feedback:

"A big thanks to the Pro Bono Consulting Program for helping Living Room excel. Our project team offered expertise and insights into our organization’s branding and marketing in a way that helped solidify our organization’s identity but also set us on course for future strategies. As proficient as our team’s work was (and it was), we’re also thankful for the continued working relationship we’ve maintained with some of our team members well past the final semester presentation.” – Trevor Cochlin, Director of Marketing, Living Room

“Mister Migs, Dog Gear for Good, thanks the amazing Georgia Tech MBA Project Teams for their significant contribution to our operation.  Their work in establishing best practices for our manufacturing processes, establishing inventory controls, and developing a social media strategy has helped create a better system to increase our margins and prepare for the retail and wholesale marketplace. The Teams demonstrated intuitive understanding of our needs and provided practical strategies to meet the challenges. Their work has been a critical step in managing Mister Migs future opportunities successfully.  We send our sincere appreciation to the Teams for their dedication and professionalism!” Karen Lynn, President, Mister Migs, LLC & WOW In-Sync, Inc., Atlanta.

"I just wanted to let you know that the Pro Bono Project Team made their final presentation to us today. They did an OUTSTANDING job on the project and the presentation. I was extremely happy with the quality of their research and final recommendations. But I was most struck by what a fine group of young people they are. Their commitment and dedication to the work of making sure that they produced a valid and useful product that would help us do what we do better was obvious and encouraging. Georgia Tech can be very proud of this fine group of students." -John A. Berry, CEO & Executive Director, Society of St. Vincent de Paul Atlanta

"I would like to thank you (the Pro Bono Consulting team) for all of your hard work on the Computer on Wheels (COW) Project.   It was especially helpful to see the survey results to validate that a new process is needed in order to better serve our customers. The battery analysis completed by your team will also help us to communicate the correct charge process in order to get optimal battery life. You and your team met all of the goals of the project, stayed within scope and provided the outcomes that will benefit our customers." - Julie Lewis, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta - Computer on Wheels (COW) Project
