West End Community Urban Garden

The Organization

The WECUG is a non-profit focused on bridging the gap between seniors and youth through education and toiling the soil. Founded in 2004 by Mrs. Green Hightower, the WECUG has supplied many people with the knowledge necessary to grow fruits and vegetables naturally using limited-space techniques.

The Challenge

The leadership challenge addressed was to provide a strategy for rapid growth and product-to-market.

The Skate Foundation

The Organization

The Skate Foundation is a non-profit focused on redirecting a baby born with T21 from a life of mediocrity to a normal and independent one.

The Challenge

The leadership challenge addressed was to determine and identify the most effective ways to educate and promulgate to the world about Forumla 21, as well as to address human capital contraints related to volunteer organizations.

Georgia Urban Forest Council

The Organization

The GUFC is a non-profit focused on providing programs and workshops for proper tree-planting to be a broad based leadership resource in promoting the importance of trees throughout Georgia

The Challenge

The leadership challenge addressed was helping the GUFC engage with its current members in more meaningful ways, create and sustain a pipeline of new engaged members, and provide a hand-over document for future interns

Homes of Light LLC

The Organization

Homes of Light LLC is a group of non-profits and a for-profit line to help Veterans obtain shelter, car ownership and ultimately, the means to live productive members of society

The Challenge

The leadership challenge addressed helped Homes of Light provide greater clarity and specificity to their goals (and lines of business), as well as more effective deployment of human capital
