Georgia Tech Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship

The Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (ILE) is an interdisciplinary institute that promotes servant leadership and organizational practices that contribute to a more just, caring, and equitable world. 

Impact Speaker Series

We host a weekly series featuring leaders from the corporate and social sectors, providing students and the community an opportunity for meaningful conversations around current topics. 

Study Abroad

ILE faculty lead a summer semester in Central and Eastern Europe. Participants work on a project with a nonprofit partner in Budapest, Hungary. 

Ideas 2 Serve 

Ideas 2 Serve is a competition promoting an in-depth understanding of social issues and community-based solutions. 

Excel Program

Excel was founded by the ILE, and is physically housed in the Scheller College of Business. The program is now under the  auspices of CEISMC under the  Center for the 21st Century Universities.

Leadership Minor

The ILE administers a Leadership Minor and the capstone course for the minor focuses on projects with social impact.


The Cowan-Turner programs aim to develop a culture of servant leadership.
