Georgia Tech Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship

The Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (ILE) is an Interdisciplinary Institute that Encourages Values-based Leadership and Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship.

Impact Speaker Series

We host a weekly series featuring leaders from the corporate and social sectors, providing students and the community an opportunity for meaningful conversations around current topics. 

Study Abroad

ILE faculty lead a summer semester in Central and Eastern Europe. Participants work on a project with a nonprofit partner in Budapest, Hungary. 

Ideas 2 Serve 

Ideas 2 Serve is a competition promoting an in-depth understanding of social issues and community-based solutions. 

Excel Program

The Excel Program offered by the Scheller College of Business is a four-year college program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It was founded and incubated within the ILE. 

Leadership Minor

The ILE administers a Leadership Minor and the capstone course for the minor focuses on projects with social impact.


The Cowan-Turner programs aim to develop a culture of servant leadership.
