Excel (Expanding Career, Education, and Leadership for Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities). An Inclusive Postsecondary Academy program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The Excel program provides a structured and supportive postsecondary educational opportunity and addresses the full scope of the needs of this population from fundamental academics to social activities and vocational preparation. The program activities are categorized under one or more categories: academics, social fluency, independent living, career exploration, and development.

Years 1 & 2: Academic Enrichment, Social Fluency, and Career Exploration

Years 3 & 4: Social Growth, Leadership and Career Development

EXCEL at Georgia Tech received approval as a Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP) by the U.S. Department of Education
