Abstract
In recent years, the significance of multinationals from developing countries (TWMNEs) has been increasing. Similarly, much research interest has also been placed on foreign direct investment in the United States. Such FDI from developing nation firms has been growing. This study investigates and reports on the location characteristics of developing country FDI in the U.S. The important location factors for TWMNEs are identified and compared to those of American firms. The Sources of location information used, the location decision process, and location evaluation considerations are also examined.
