Inside CIBER

CIBER Travel Awards

Every year the GT CIBER makes available, on a competitive basis, eight to twelve management student mobility stipends. These occur in the form of a subsidy for travel and overseas expenses for study at approved business school partners overseas.

These awards are made by GT CIBER at the Georgia Tech College of Management, on receipt of application. Students are expected to complete one full accredited term at one of the official partner schools of the Ivan Allen College.

Students are asked to contact the GT CIBER administrative office to apply, the year before they intend to go overseas.

The CIBER faculty travel award process is a competitive one and designed to achieve the specific objectives of the national CIBER program and of the GT CIBER. All requests are considered on the basis of their relationship to CIBER objectives; are on a competitive basis; and are made available on the basis of availability of funds. CIBER does not make faculty travel awards without a complementary match from another university or other source.

The Georgia Tech CIBER offers travel awards for pedagogical travel that promotes international management research, foreign studies and the general internationalization of Georgia Tech's curriculum. For further information on CIBER's faculty travel awards, please contact Dr. McIntyre at the GT CIBER.

Georgia Tech also offers a wide range of opportunities for its undergraduate and graduate students to study abroad through a variety of official exchange programs in a number of specific disciplines.
