Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business is ranked 27th (10th among public universities) for full-time MBA programs and 20th for part-time programs in U.S. News & World Report's latest rankings.
The magazine, which publishes the rankings each year in a special edition guidebook titled America's Best Graduate Schools, surveyed more than 400 U.S. MBA programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
While maintaining its 27th ranking in the full-time category for the second year in a row, Scheller climbs four spots with its Evening MBA (11th among public universities), making it the top-ranked public school in Georgia in the part-time category.
“We’re very excited to see our popular Evening MBA program enter the top 20,” says Dean Steve Salbu. “As we continue to make Scheller College the world’s preeminent school for business and technology, we’re pleased to see rankings increasingly recognize our great progress.”
In specialty categories, U.S. News ranked Scheller 12th for Information Systems, and 16th for Production/Operations.
U.S. News determined its full-time rankings by surveying business school deans, MBA program directors, and corporate recruiters/contacts about the quality of each accredited program. The magazine also factored in the mean starting salaries, bonuses, and employment rates of graduates.
