Georgia Tech's Business School Ranked 6th in World for IT Specialty

Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business is ranked 6th the world (1st in the Southeast) for the Information Technology (IT) specialty, according to Bloomberg BusinessWeek.

"This is our highest IT Management ranking yet, reflecting hiring and retention of remarkably talented faculty in this area," says Scheller College Dean Steve Salbu.

Bloomberg BusinessWeek also ranked Scheller College 12th for E-business (1st in the Southeast), 17th for Teamwork, and 31st for Entrepreneurship (1st in Georgia).

Last fall, Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranked Georgia Tech 23rd in the nation (8th among public universities) in its rankings of the nation's top full-time MBA programs. The news source began publishing a series of specialty rankings early this year. These specialty rankings are based on students responses to a survey.
