Wal-Mart's Senior Vice President Greg Sullivan will discuss lessons from his work experience on Wed. October 17 in Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series.
Sullivan, whose lecture is titled "My Wal-Mart Education," will speak at 4:30 p.m. in LeCraw Auditorium of the Scheller College of Business (800 West Peachtree Street). His lecture is free and open to the public.
Organized by Georgia Tech's Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the IMPACT Series brings notable business executives, high-tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and intellectual leaders to the College.
At Wal-Mart, Sullivan is responsible for 108,000 associates and operations at 339 stores in Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina and part of Florida. His role consists of saving customers in the Southeast money so that they can live better; and executing effective business strategies and talent development for Walmart’s South Business Unit. He joined the company in 1994 as a management trainee.
